Minnesota Snowfall Totals 2024. Surprisingly, for some of us, the first snow of the season in the lower 48 happened awhile ago. Minneapolis โ many minnesotans are waking up with more than half a foot of snow outside their window monday morning.
A major winter storm affected parts of the central plains and midwest, brushing the corners of southwestern and southeastern minnesota. A legitimate winter storm at the end of march doubled some seasonal snowfall totals, but came too late to erase the memories of bare ground and chirping birds through the heart of winter.
